First we need to make clear in what are you good at, what things interest you and then we can start by talking about how to make money online from that.

- I like to know all about technology and I feel like I can talk about it to others. (This is the one) so let’s continue.
As you can see I could even mention more things that i like but i just needed to find at least one which i feel confortable and confident to talk about. You Probably will write a longer list and that’s perfect because that will let you know what works best for you.

2. What product or service should i offer?
Once you have clear your niche you will need to look for something you can offer in that market. Try to think in a product or a service. If you think of a product and get overwhelmed with that, let me tell you that you dont have to create your own products. You can sell from others by recommending them. So taking my last example, I decided to talk about technology, so I dont need to create a computer and then sell it. That would be impossible to do that by myself and not even thinking of thousands of millions I will need to invest in a lab. But what I can do is selling laptops from others. So for now just think about that product or service.
In the other hand, if you decided to offer a service, make sure it is something that you can do virtualy. With this I mean like online consulting, virtual classes, IT service, etc.
3. How do I sell my products or promote my services?
Here starts the smart thing about how to make money online in 5 steps. If you already have setted up the first two previous steps now you can continue. As this is going to be a small business with the vision to grow, you will need to create an online presence in order to be visible for your future costumers. With this i mean you need to decide the way you want to promote your services or products. It can be through social media, having a website or the combination of them. I will suggest having a website as a priority since you can make through it a passive income even over years… While with social media If you dont post constanly then your audience forgets that you exist.
Nowadays to make a website is very easy than 10 years ago, the new technology has made everything to be more efficent and practical so you dont need professional knowlegde for this.
4. Where do I get the products from?
I think is the most exciting part for me and of course for you as well!!
There are a lot of plataforms that are selected by categories, dependign on the products you need. I will suggest you to start with Amazon. Why? Because they are one of the most popular plataforms, they are trusted, work all over the world and have everything!. The main reason is because you don’t need to pass a hard proceess to be accepted to be an affiliated. They just want you to have at least 3 sells during a period of 6 months to keep your account. But even then if you dont reach this, you can re-apply! Perfect right?
Now to be part of the Amazon Affiliate Program you just need to type your personal details and create an account. Be aware that this may include Tax Information.
Once you become an affiliated you can chose any product to start offering. Taking the same example we used at the beggining…
- I decided to talk about technology so I want to sell laptops. The only thing i need to do is going to Amazon (logged in the affiliate account). Then look for the laptop that has the best features and link it to your post. READY, THAT’S ALL!
How easy is that right? As you can see you don’t need to have your own products to sell on internet. But if you do have that is great too!.
However, If you have your own products or you start the affiliate marketing, having a website will be the best to direct people to make a purchase. Let’s make another example. Think in the last couple of days or weeks if you bought something online and before it you looked reviews from others to know if the product is actually good or not. I will include myself on this and the answer will be with high probabilities of YES, you did looked for reviews.
Then If you did this, wouldn’t you think others do the same? OF COURSE! So this is the way your website takes action.

5. How do i get clients?
Once you have all the previous steps, You will be thinking, who is going to buy you? or who is going to find your website and make a purchase? This can be simple or hard depending your way to look at it. One thing is for sure, If you keep consistent and you really put an effort in your work, at the end you will generate a good income from it.
Well, to get your clients you will need to know who is your target. The people are you looking for are young? are they old?. Whateva especify how old are they. Next, are your target women and men? or just one of them?. Make that clear. The more information you have about your ideal client, the better. Buy you may wonder why do you need to stablish all those personal info that is not your business. Let me tell you is it of your interest. I’ll tell you WHY now.
Once you know the demographic, geographic and psycological information you will be able to find exactly the needs this target has. This is easy to understand but to make it perfectly clear. This just means that you know how to talk to them so they buy your products and also you ‘magically’ know what they were looking for. And of course is not magic. It is called research. If you know your target the way you know your parents I can guarantee you will attract your ideal clients and they will buy you!. And I dont say this.
The big marketers say it and proved.
Advice: Make content that the target you found is currently looking for it. Give them the answers to their needs with your reviews and recommendations talking the way they do. I mean with this if they are old, talk a sofistacated language. If they are young, talk like them, use lingos.
