Have you ever wondered what it takes to develop a professional brand? You've come to the right place if you've had this question and want to learn how to build your own brand identity manual. So, in 2022, how do you create a Brand Identity Manual? The truth is, as long as you've identified your market (target), brand name, and logo, it's really simple.
To begin establishing your brand, you must first understand your target market, since this will serve as the foundation for your name. It won't work if your business is in the food industry but your brand's name is in the clothing business.
In addition i have compiled a list of 10 profitable blogging niches ideas that are actually paying a lot of money to you.
How to start your Brand ID?
First you have to decide your blogging niche in order to start creating your business name. If you are not sure about the niche at the beginning (this happened to me) I would recommed you choose a name for your brand that is generic. By this, I mean a name that is not specific for a market, or one that can be used in flexible ways. As an option, even your own name can be involved in the brand name.
After choosing your niche and brand name, you will need to create a logo for it. For this i recommed you do it as simple as possible, in a way that looks professional. After completing the previous steps, the creative and exciting part begins! In case you don't have it yet, you will need to create your logo. You can look for inspiration by searching online. Nowadays there are a lot of platforms that offer this service for free. Just make sure it is simple and sophisticated.
That's all!! If you have made it this far and completed the steps, congratulations! For many people these first steps can be overwhelming but it shouldn't be. I would say that part was the most exciting for me because I had a lot of ideas coming into my head and at the end i just let all the creativity flow. Make sure to write down everything, you can always organise it later!
Answering frequent questions:
Many small businesses are unaware of how to build a brand identity manual or the significance of that to their online presence. This is due to their misconception that it is just for large corporations or well-known brands. It doesn't matter if you're a big business or a small one. To emphasise all of the reasons why you should start making it, I'm going to highlight some points about the necessity of the manual and how you can make your own.
1. Why Do I have to do this?
First and importantly, the brand identity manual is equivalent to the identity card you keep in your wallet. It's your business's identifier. Your target audience will be able to learn more about you, get an impression of you, and distinguish you from others if you have this set up. In addition, as a small business owner, you will benefit from the following:
- You've laid the foundation for your brand.
- Learn how to make designs for your social media accounts.
- Improve your knowledge on how to create a brand image.
2. How does this help my business?
In summariy, your business will appear professional and trustworthy if you have a well-organized online presence. Naturally, trust and credibility are earned over time, but at the very least, your brand will make a favourable first impression. Furthermore, you must have the mindset when starting a online business that it will develop enormously with hard work. You must put in effort in order to make this a reality. So, my best advice is to be professional from the beginning! Why am I stating this? Because it's critical to have a strategy in place for how to present your brand, website, or blog.
In other words, people will treat you the way they perceive you whenever you upload a photo on social media or in your blog. You are unlikely to get followed if you do not have an armonic Instagram feed or a structured blog. As a result, there will be no sales and no customers. So sharing professional content will be quite beneficial to you. Althought this is valid for all platforms on which you work. That's why you have to keep working on your business image.
To summarise, you must build your brand identity in order to be recognised in the marketplace and to stand out among your competitors. Then the first step is to let people know that your business exists and that you can help them with their challenges. That's when they'll begin to recognise you, and as a result, they'll be more likely to remember you the following time. However, you can only get to that position if you work consistently and share valuable information in your content on a regular basis. Simply doing so will lead to potential future purchases.
3. How do i do it?
Ahaa! That's the hard question. But let me tell you that is not complicated at all. That's why every small business must have it nowadays. What I'm about to share with you is very important and you have to take notes about it! So dont worry if you don't know how to build a Brand Identity Manual! I'm going to share with you what are the essential points you have to consider when making it.
The Brand ID contains the following sections:

- Pillars: These are the fundamentals around which your work is built. Specifying each value accurately represents your business's foundations.
- Colours: Establishing your brand's colours (cmyk, rgb, codes).
- Fonts: Selecting fonts for all of your digital materials
- Digital templates: Create your graphic designg templates for all your social platforms.

Furthermore, one of the most crucial reasons why small businesses fail is that they lack a clear goal. That is why setting a goal is so important. My professional experience suggests that your business goal should be to build a loyal community that consumes your content and values your expertise. That is why determining your 'added value' is critical. Having this clarity will assist you in following a path that will help you in driving your business in the proper direction and making it profitable.
Finally, having these critical processes in place will provide you a clear picture and a new perspective on your business. Furthemore, always read your mission, vision, and values whenever you suspect your business isn't operating as it should.
